PHSSA Friends and Families,
Throughout this exceptionally challenging year, PHSSA has adapted incredibly well! PHSSA’s attendance rate is one of the highest in RPS. Our teachers and administration have worked tirelessly to create out-of-the box learning opportunities for our students, ensuring that even during virtual learning, a PHSSA education remains unique and outstanding:

Throughout this exceptionally challenging year, PHSSA has adapted incredibly well! PHSSA’s attendance rate is one of the highest in RPS. Our teachers and administration have worked tirelessly to create out-of-the box learning opportunities for our students, ensuring that even during virtual learning, a PHSSA education remains unique and outstanding:
- While we cannot be in the park together, teachers are getting creative - Mrs. Evans is blending letters and environmental science in her videos for our kindergarteners.
- All of PHSSA connects as one community weekly during virtual Friday Morning Meetings.
We’ve used this time to give the building some TLC:
- When we return to the building, learning will be lit by new LED lights.
- Return to school evaluations are in process to make it as safe as possible when our students and teachers are back in the building.
- We are consulting with architects, engineers and contractors to determine the most efficient and economical way to get our top floor opened.
