ART, ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION, LIGHTBULB LAB, MUSIC, and PE

ART
Anne Chamblin (achambli@rvaschools.net) -- Ms. Chamblin holds a B.F.A. in Painting and Printmaking and a B.A. in Art Education from Virginia Commonwealth University. She has brought after-school art programs to several schools in the region and led many classes at the Visual Art Center of Richmond. In her classroom, students create and solve problems with all sorts of mediums and materials to make art.

Desyl Wood (dwood2@rvaschools.net) -- A California transplant, Ms. Wood received her B.A. in Environmental Studies, studying natural resource management and environmental law. She later obtained a Teaching Credential in Multiple Subject K-8 and English Language Development, with an emphasis on upper elementary science education. Her research for her Master's degree in Urban and Regional Planning focused on sustainability and environment-behavior studies.

LIGHTBULB LAB
Lee LaPradd (jlapradd@rvaschools.net) -- Mr. LaPradd is a founding faculty member of PHSSA. Before joining PHSSA, Mr. LaPradd worked as the Lead Early Childhood Educator for PACE Even Start Family Literacy Program with Amelia County Public Schools in Amelia, Virginia. He was instrumental in developing the Early Childhood and Parenting Curriculums for the program. Mr. LaPradd holds a B.S. in Liberal Studies from Averett College and received his M.F.A. from Hollins University in Library Science.

MUSIC
Eric Godsey (egodsey@rvaschools.net)-- Mr. Godsey joined the PHSSA family in 2018. He holds a B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies of Music Production from Old Dominion University and a B.A. in Music Education-Instrumental from Virginia Commonwealth University. Mr. Godsey has been professionally teaching elementary music since 2015. Before that, his experience included teaching private music lessons, working as a substitute teacher, and instructing multiple local high school marching bands. As a musician for around 20 years, he is well versed in multiple instruments, including drums/percussion, guitar, ukulele, bass, and keyboards. Currently, Mr. Godsey plays drums for local rock band The Wimps and can also be found doing improv comedy with the Richmond Comedy Coalition.
