PRINCIPAL
Dr. Eileen Atkinson (eatkinso@rvaschools.net​) -- Dr. Atkinson has a BS degree in Biology from the University of Mary Washington. She has earned a Masters degree in Administration and Supervision and a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership from Virginia Commonwealth University.

​Prior to joining the PHSSA family in 2013, Dr. Atkinson has taught students from the pre-school level through high school biology, chemistry and AP Environmental Science. She is a Certified Virginia Master Naturalist and serves on the board of the Pocahontas State Park VMN Chapter. She is also a member of the Delta Chapter of Alpha Delta Kappa, an international honorary and altruistic organization for educators.

ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL
Thomas DeVaughn (tdevaugh@rvaschools.net​) -- Mr. DeVaughn taught first grade for sixteen years then worked for one year as an Interim Assistant Principal for Richmond Public Schools. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Georgia State University in Early Childhood Education, a Master’s degree from Virginia Commonwealth University, and a Post Master’s Certificate in Educational Leadership.  Mr. DeVaughn is passionate about hands on learning experiences and cultivating a love of reading.

SCHOOL COUNSELOR
Ashlee Davis (aeaster2@rvaschools.net​) -- Mrs. Davis holds a Master's of Science degree in Counselor Education, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Psychology.  She has worked directly with Richmond Public Schools as a Program Coordinator with Partnership for the Future (PFF), a nonprofit organization providing internship placement and college access to high achieving students.  As the school counselor, Mrs. Davis' goal is to introduce the college-going culture to children of all ages and on all levels of education.

OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR
Ms. Stewart (mstewart@rvaschools.net) -- Ms. Stewart has been working for Richmond Public Schools for 3 years. She initially worked as a long-term substitute and now is the Administrative Office Associate here at PHSSA.  She always has a smile for students, parents, faculty and staff.

CAFETERIA
Ms. Cooper (lcooper2@rvaschools.net​)-- Ms. Cooper received her education from Richmond Public Schools and local colleges.  Her goals are to offer students a healthy, safe, and clean cafeteria environment each and every day. She tops it off with a bit of humor and an occasional "Oh no, don't do that!"

CUSTODIAN
Mr. Anderson -- Mr. Anderson has been our handyman for PHSSA from year one. He has been keeping things clean for a long time. After school Mr. Anderson coaches football at Parham Elementary School (go Bears!). When he is not working or coaching, Mr. Anderson likes reading, fishing, playing the drums, and being involved in all sports.
