LIGHTS! ACTION! LEARN!
Act ACORNingly is PHSSA's premier drama troupe. Started just three years ago with a grant to present the musical, "Yes Virginia: The Musical"' with fourth and fifth grade students, the troupe has grown to include all students at all grade levels. To date, the troupe has presented "Yes, Virginia: The Musical" twice and two spring musicals. Act ACORNingly also sponsored a winter drama camp for K-3 students last year.
This year is looking to be a year of growth for the troupe. Our goals are to expand the offerings of the troupe. We will begin our season with the holiday favorite, "Yes Virginia: The Musical". With new and exciting staging, lighting, costuming, and a cast from all grade levels, this holiday tradition will brighten the hearts of many this holiday season.
Our spring musical will be our biggest production to date. While we can't announce it yet, it promises to be a fun filled adventure for the cast and the audience. If you thought our former spring musicals were awesome, just wait. This year's will knock your socks off.
Act ACORNingly is also hoping to start a Booster Club for the troupe. The Booster Club would be an amazing ways for families to become involved with our theatre troupe. They would act as a major support of the troupe in the areas of fundraising, marketing, grant writing, and other projects. The main goal of the boosters this year will be raising enough funds through grants and fundraising to purchase sound equipment, lighting, and other improvements to the theater space.
Act ACORNingly is always looking for help in all areas. No experience is needed, just a willingness to try something new. If interested, please contact the production team at email@example.com.

2017 Winter Musical
This year's second winter musical will be Seussical Jr.!! This fun and energetic production is based on the books of Dr. Seuss (mainly "Horton Hears a Who!", "Horton Hatches the Egg" and "Miss Gertrude McFuzz"). The play's story is a rather complex amalgamation of many of Seuss's most famous books. It has become a loved classic for schools, communities and regional theatres.
